Recognised Accreditation
We aim to work towards having “drug-safe workplace” accreditation recognised nationally. As such we intend that being accredited will provide employers with evidence of social value and community benefits within procurement, funding and business development activities.
We will award our drugsafe workplace quality mark to employers whom we assess to have the following standards in place:
1. The company has a robust workplace drug testing policy.
2. The company can evidence regular arrangements for workplace drug testing, for workers in safety critical roles.
(1 & 2 = Drug-Safe Standard Award)
3. The company can provide evidence of the availability and provision of employee support for workers affected by substances or drug test results.
(1 to 3 = Drug-Safe Silver Award)
4. The company can provide evidence of educational programmes being in place for employees and managers on the impact and risk of drugs in the workplace.
(1 to 4 = Drug-Safe Gold Award)
